ACA Agency, Affiliate and Asset Buyers
Division (ABD) Members
ACA agency, affiliate and ABD
members are eligible to vote at the ACA
Annual Meeting of the Membership on
July 12, 2010, provided:
1. At least one person from that
member’s office has registered as a
full first person/delegate for the
convention;
2. The full first person/delegate from
that member’s office is present for
the balloting; and
3. The company was a member of
record in ACA as of June 1, 2010.
To avoid questions about any
member’s right to vote at the ACA
Annual Meeting of the Membership,
visit the convention registration desk
before the ACA Annual Meeting of the
Membership to check whether the
member company’s representative is
registered as a full first person/delegate.
Occasionally, an individual who is
registered as a full first person/delegate
will not be in attendance at the Annual
Meeting of the Membership. In this
event, it is possible to designate another
individual from the member company’s
office to assume the individual’s
standing as a full first person/delegate.
However, the individual must make
this change before the voting
registration and sign-in process begins
at 3: 30 p.m. EDT on Monday, July 12,
2010, at the Annual Meeting of the
Membership. Individuals who wish to
substitute another individual from their
office location as the member’s full first
person/delegate at the Annual Meeting
of the Membership should notify the
convention staff at the convention
registration desk.
Individuals registered as “second
person,” registered for “team discounts”
or registered for daily registrations are
not eligible to vote.
Multi-Office Memberships
Each member company is entitled to
cast one vote. Therefore, companies
that maintain multi-office memberships
are entitled to cast a vote for each
membership maintained in the
association. A representative for each
member office must pay a full first
person/delegate registration fee and be
present for the balloting in order to
qualify the member office for a vote.
Creditors International (CI) Members
CI individual members are eligible to
vote at the ACA Annual Meeting of the
Membership on July 12, 2010, provided:
1. The CI member has registered as a
full first person/delegate for the
convention;
2. The CI member is present for the
balloting; and
3. The individual was a CI member of
record in ACA as of June 1, 2010.
Individuals who maintain both
individual and agency memberships
must designate the membership
