No proxy statements are accepted for
the Annual Meeting of the
Membership. There are no exceptions
to this rule.
Registration/Sign In
Before members enter the meeting
room, eligible voters (first
person/delegate convention registrant
or MAP member registered for the
MAP Legal Education Conference) will
be asked to sign beside their names on
the official registration list. After
signing in, these voting delegates will be
given a voting paddle and ballots for the
contested election. Voting delegates are
asked to sit in a designated area
restricted to voting members.
Members who are not eligible to
vote may attend the meeting and are
not required to sign in. Nonvoting
members are directed to sit in the area
designated for nonvoting members.
Additional Voting Information
If a representative from a member
company arrives at the Annual Meeting
registration table and his or her name
does not appear on the official
registration list as a full first
person/delegate, he or she will not be
eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting
even if he or she is the only person from
the member company in attendance.

Absentee Ballots (Contested Elections
Only)
In the event the election is contested,
absentee ballots will be made available
to any eligible full first person/delegate
and any MAP member registered for
the MAP Legal Education Conference,
who is unable to be present at the
Annual Meeting of the Membership. In
this event, absentee ballots will be
available from the ACA corporate
secretary or her designee. Ample blocks
of time will be established and posted at
the convention registration desk
indicating when the corporate secretary
or her designee will be available to issue
absentee ballots during the convention.
Absentee ballots must be completed
and returned to ACA’s corporate
secretary or her designee in person by
the delegate. Absentee ballots will only
be accepted from persons who are
registered as a full first person/delegate
registrant for the entire convention, are
present for at least two full days of the
convention or from MAP members
